Tourists, Student & Visitor Visas

Salvatori, Wood & Buckel helps obtain visas and legal residency for tourists, students, business people, and others. We also resolve immediate visa and immigration problems and develop long-term strategies for persons who wish to live and work in the United States.
We pride ourselves on our ability to quickly identify and resolve impediments to legal visa status, attention to detail, and responsive client service. Salvatori, Wood & Buckel can help in matters involving:

If you do not qualify for one of the above visas, Salvatori, Wood & Buckel may be able to help you obtain another type of visa that will allow you to stay in the U.S., including temporary or permanent employment-based visas.

A Visa May Not Be Required

Depending on the purpose of your visit, your time of stay, and your country of origin, you may not need a visa. Nationals from countries on Visa Waiver Program list can stay in the U.S. for up to 90 days without a visa. If you wish to extend your stay, our firm may be able to help you obtain a temporary visa.

Overstaying a Visa

If you overstay a temporary visa you are ineligible to extend your prior status or change status into another category. If you overstay for more than 180 days, you will be subject to a bar to legal re-entry. If you have overstayed less than 180 days, you can re-apply for a non-immigrant visa, provided that you first leave the U.S. In either case, overstaying a visa may jeopardize your ability to obtain legal immigration status. Our law firm can advise you in these situations.

Salvatori, Wood & Buckel has extensive experience in all types of visa matters, including temporary visa, employment-based visa, and family-based visa matters. In these and other immigration matters, our goal is to help our clients achieve the visa status they desire.
